A single application of Scotts GrubEx1 stops grubs all season long and kills 25% more grub types versus original Grubex. Use Scotts GrubEx1 annually to help control Japanese beetle infestations in your lawn.
Just works, if you have grub problem, buy this!
I had a really bad grub problem in my yard. I used the other stuff homedepot sold me, didnt do anything. My grass was dying, and searched on Amazon for something better and found this. I should have paid attention to the weight of the package, but don’t let that fool you. I dropped this in my spreader, and did a double pass on the affected area on my yard, watered it in, and checked the soil in two days. What I found was a lot of dead grubs. Worth every penny.
Helped to remove moles
We had a mole problem over the last two years living in our home. After we applied grub killer we had MUCH less of a problem the following spring and summer. Does not hurt the moles but does remove their food source.
Use it to avoid getting grubs
No grubs. Can’t complain much about it since it’s done what it is supposed to do the past 3 years.
Works as advertised, helps keep away moles.
I’ve used this stuff for several years and it works well to help keep moles away. Fast shipping, only 3-4 days.
Got rid of food source for skunk
I used this last year to kill grubs because we were having a skunk digging in our yard. Not only did we get rid of the skunk problem but added bonus there were no Japanese beetles eating my white roses this year. Knock on wood so far so good.
If you’ve ever come home to a bunch of crows flinging large pieces of your lawn in the air or watch your once lush green lawn turn brown and die before your eyes then you’ll understand first hand what grubs can do. Have used GrubEx on my grub ridden lawn in the past and it works great. Kills those little bast**ds dead and quickly. Suggest applying this as a preventative but if you’re too late it will help mitigate the damage. Nothing like raking the lawn and having the grass just roll up off the soil like a piece of sod. Good news is that if you use this every spring you can avoid this from happening.
Works like a Charm!
I live near Chicago, and we apply this to our lawn every year. Sure beats replacing the lawn that the grubs ruined (twice!) before we started using this. It has consistently worked over the past 5 years – and we don’t use anything else. Why mess with success! Plan to use it again next year to keep those nasty grubs away.
It Works, but doesn’t seem to last more than a couple of months.
Grubex seems to have done the trick, although two months later, I had to put down more.
My lawn is still green…
The year prior I found a few grubs in some damaged areas (Not enough to warrant applying a product like this). This year I decided to put this down just to be safe on my tall fescue lawn. I applied the second weekend in May (Live in Piedmont area of NC near Charlotte). It didn’t kill my lawn, but it may have stressed it out a little bit (can’t be sure what caused it, heat? fungus? disease?). Anyways, most of my lawn is still green. As to whether it worked or not…who knows? Based on my own research, it is all about the timing of application…
