Omg, I have a 30 foot wood deck that leads to a pool. Every year there are more of these demon wasps, this year already was unbearable. You could not walk out on the deck without swatting in all directions. I hung 3 of these up, these photos are after only 3 days! Today, there is ONE, yes ONE wasp flying around. This friggin thing works, you can see how afraid they are of the decoy nest… They fly onto this trap that is right beside it! Bruh, like, omg, my deck is now infestation free, no one is afraid of my 30 foot wood anymore

Bring back the cheaper one!!

While these things work great and I understand the need for the bird guards, did the price really need to go up by $10 per trap?? This price is insane! $16 now for a few OPTIONAL pieces of plastic??? Would love to have the option of still getting the cheaper trap as we did not have problems with birds getting stuck in our traps.

Been trying a few anti-wasp measures since I can’t reach their nest.

Great for decreasing carpenter bee population.

Carpenter Bee trapping success! The Trapstik is very effective. The attached pic is the first day. There was over 40 bees stuck to the trap.

Used these last summer. They are amazing. Had a very bad wasps problem between us and the neighbors. Hung these up in a few spots and within a day they were catching wasps, flies and general bugs. They are fine to leave out n the rain and they fill up quickly. Replaced full ones with new twice during the summer and they continued catching wasps until the season was over. Already stocked up on them for this summer and ready to put them out soon and maybe catch the queens to prevent problem all together. If not, I know they will keep working for us all summer. Neighbors had bought the plastic beehive traps that you put liquid in and caught maybe 2-3 wasps. They all saw ours and immediately jumped on Amazon to buy their own.

Glad to see a bird guard this year – serious wasp problem at our house

Last year we had a serious problem with wasps, so we placed one of these traps at the front and one at the back of the house. We replaced both traps once during the summer, and all four were full of wasps (so gross). This year the traps have a bird guard and one reviewer said the guards fell off. It took a couple of minutes to figure the first guard out, but the rest of the guards went on easily enough and were not a problem. Since each guard snaps into place at the top and bottom of the trap, everything felt secure.

I was so concerned when I saw the new “bird safe” model, this product is great and was great without the additional bird protector (luckily the bird protector is optional) the price did go up 2 ish dollars…. I’m guessing because of the bird protectors that I put directly into the trash….. already caught a ton of hornets and it’s only been up a few days… this is my 3rd summer using them and I will be buying them every summer for life….

these work, couldn’t function with out them

this is the best thing, i have found that works in my yard front and back. spring where i live starts in march and thats when the wasps show up, the queens i guess. but this year i have been having a plaque of them. The traps filled up quickly in 2 weeks. had to order more, put them up they are about full as well. I live near the woods i guess. the other neighbors say they dont have a problem, just me. they also catch flies and mosquitos, i follow the instructions and put them up at the top of each deck and back porch and front porch. it doesn’t get all of them but a majority. there is 2 nests in progress, that 2 queens got away from the traps, going to need an exterminator for those 2. I wish i didnt have this problem. But i do, they do not catch little birds. I am an animal lover, and care for dogs and cats, and their and my safety is number one
