Easy To Use, Runs Well

Assembled with ease. Simply fold out the handle, add the 2 included bolts and nuts to the handle, tighten with a 13mm wrench, then tighten the middle handle wing bolts and adjust the wheels to your preference. Add the included 15.5 ounces of SAE 30 oil, fill with gas, prime three times, pull the starter rope one time. It is that easy. It starts very easily, runs smoothly, much easier on fuel than my last mower and much easier to maneuver. I don’t see any reason why this machine will not provide tears of dependable service.
Good little push mower.

Good little push mower. I got this for my 1 acre property to help around the perimeter under/around edges/bushes/brush. I was having some issues at first with it seizing up and turning off, but then I realized it was because the wheels were set to mow at the lowest setting and the thick grass/brush was just too much (I had it mulching reather than discharging). I raised the wheels a bit and it’s been great.
I’m pulling for this Poulan Pro

I HATE that I LOVE this teeny tiny mower but it starts with 1-2 pulls as it has a push button choke. My only complaints are the motor bogs in areas where I have weeds trying to take over my symbiotic Bermuda which will grow on the sidewalk yet shy’s away from healthy dirt, go figure. The other thing, and I knew this coming in as I’d researched mowers of this type prior to biting the bullet, the cutting path is narrow BUT this is a mower intended for small yards or trim work on a larger yard. I’ve had it for almost 8 months so, I only used it for the tail end of the cutting season 2016. I prepped for this season by replacing/changing the oil and cleaning the air filter, it’s foam so, I used Simple Green and warm water and pop, it was like new. Then, the big surprise, I primed the carb with the push button choke, pulled the cord and vrooom! It started right up! I clean mine after use using a hose to remove clippings and dirt, I spritz the undercarriage and dry with my shop towels to prevent rust. I’m pretty stoked to have this Barbee sized mower which, being a big dude, causes my neighbors to laugh but what the heck, it works great.
This Poulan Pro mower is a fantastic bang for the buck!

The mower was received one day before it it was guaranteed to arrive. Once taken out of the box, it was assembled, and oil and fuel were added — all in less than ten minutes. *Note: as others mentioned, it’s a bit of a pain to get the oil into the engine — a flex funnel is just about mandatory. However, you can find them for about $1.99, so no big deal.

I wanted a side discharge mower. This was easy to put together. It has a Briggs and Stratton engine, which have always lasted for years. Be careful to get the handles on tight. I ended up losing a couple of connectors at the bottom, which I then had to get replacements for from the local hardware store. This was totally my fault, but be forewarned. After priming the engine, it starts right up. Our grass was really high by the time we got this, and it went through the tall grass with no problem.
It starts easily every time I have mowed
I was looking for several specific things in a lawn mower and decided to purchase this one. First, I do not bag my clippings so I did not want nor need that option. The second thing that I was looking for was the wheel adjustment needed to be metal. So many mowers now have plastic clips which I do not trust. It starts easily every time I have mowed. I typically cut my grass weekly (I am located in S. FL) and it has not let me down. I also like the option of the removable side shoot.
Good solid mower

This is a great “out of the box” mower for a standard sized yard. It was delivered on time. Assembly of the handle took about five minutes. Added oil and fuel and the mower fired off on the first pull and and run fine ever since. This mower replace a Troy Bilt with plastic wheel supports which failed. The Poulan is all steel and has had no issues since purchase. Good level cut, good mulching ability.

We love this mower. I have found that the Poulan products are made at the same factory as Husqvarna and Craftsman. We have had great luck with a riding mower of theirs. This mower is inexpensive, but very durable. It is not offered at most of the big hardware stores, but can be found at ACE. I found the price at Amazon to be unbeatable and it included free shipping. I highly recommend this mower.
Mowing is fine, simple solution for handle is needed.
I have used it twice, so far, and love the way it cuts and the fact that I can push it and get around corners just fine. I had a problem with the handle
VERY impressed- Lots of Power!
I ordered this after finding out my local Rental Biz went out of business. I normally use an excellent B&D electric (battery) mower that works great for my use, but after a TON more than usual rain, we had some CRAZY HUGE weeds on 1/3 + acre lot. I decided to rent a mower for a few days but then discovered the Rental Company was no longer in business AND I already knew the other rental companies in the area do NOT rent mowers for whatever reasons… so I went to Amazon & searched for a mower with great reviews and a low price and got this one- I am VERY impressed… There was a BIG discrepancy in cost between rear-bag & side discharge and this one won the side discharge by a landslide. I expected to rake up all of the crap after mowing but was VERY surprised to find very little to pick up… the weeds were VERY HIGH so I didn’t even think to try the mulch option, but with so little that spit out the side and so little to pick, I ponder what would have been…. who woulda thunk my Rosebud was a damn mower…. Sadly, towards the very end, I found out just how good this mower really is…. Normally with such high weeds (nearing 36″), I will go forward with mower with the front tilted up, lower it about/more than 1/2 way, back up & then go forward again with the mower flat. This worked well, but not perfect- still liked the mower- but at the end, I somehow found out/discovered that even at 36″ weeds AT THE -1 LOWEST SETTING (VERY FLAT), if you don’t go too fast (and really not as slow as you/I would think and you can easily tell when going too fast).. this mower does NOT hesitate. …. it is at this point that I totally fell in love with the mower…. absolutely amazing. I’m just…… WOW!
