Good little fan

It’s a pretty good little fan, and I’ve got no complaints for the $20 price. A very necessary item for camping or hiking during hot and humid summer days, when you can’t always count on a breeze when you want it. Also makes a rather quiet and conveniently sized fan around your home, car, or office (I’ve often been annoyed that 120V box fans are so loud, even on their LOW setting). And an important bit of emergency preparedness, providing just a little bit of airflow and cooling in event of grid power failing during hot summer days (hope you’ve got LOTS of fully-charged D batteries lying around, or a spare car battery!).

Keep cool

I bought this to keep cooler at outdoor craft shows. It worked well. Would have been better if I had had table space so I could get the air blowing on my face, but I don’t have that. I thought it worked well at both settings. Batteries were easy to install.

A lifesaver

Here in the San Francisco bay area we don’t get really hot days until weeks ago, couldn’t get enough fans in the house and this one that’s battery operated or a.c. is perfect and powerful and such a low price

Great for Camping

The slim design and light weight makes this fan super easy to take on camping trips. Provides just a little ambient noise to help you sleep in the tent and circulates the air just a little on high. The low speed setting wasn’t enough for our taste but we like a lot of noise and wind. LOL Runs on four D batteries but ours lasted all weekend with no trouble. Will never camp without it!

Does the job!

Purchased this while accompanying my son to a cub scout overnight summer camp. I can’t sleep when it’s really hot and the air is still. This fan worked well and moved plenty of air. I only needed it for 2 nights, but one set of batteries easily got it through that task. It was quiet considering the volume of air it moved. I like that it came with an AC adapter as well so I can use it by my desk until the next mid-summer camping trip. It’s a little heavier than I was expecting once loaded up with D-cell batteries, that’s my only complaint. Well worth it for a couple nights of decent sleep in the sweltering July heat, though.

I really like the fans. I bought 3. I need fans that ran on batteries. I live in Arizona and we get power outages. I have 4 dogs and 3 cats that I need to keep cool. The only issue I have with the fans is getting the battery cover back on after installing the batteries. You have to be an octopus you have to slide the cover hold the cover down and get the screws back in..

Excellent. It works very well both with batteries and with regular power. Very useful when you live in an almost all – year long summer location and have power failures for climate reasons.

Moves a decent amount of air for a small fan. Only down side is it takes a ton of d cells and the on off switch is super loose so if packed for campinh it can get bumped and turned on

Works better than expected.

Worked great! I used this to circulate air in a van while camping. The fan pushes a good amount of air and is quiet. I used it for about 8 to 10 hours and did not need to change batteries. Highly recommend this item
