This wall mount is extremely strong and able to support my new Samsung 55″ flat screen. I was able to screw the mount into two wall studs top and bottom, ensuring this is mounted to the wall safely and w/o any concern of it coming loose. The tilt option and the quick release pull downs are easy to use. The quick release is a great safety assurance that no one is able to accidently lift the bottom of the TV away from the wall. But should you need to do so, each release is quickly accessed by hand and because the TV is a 55″ unit, it hides the release pull down ribbons very well. You’ll want to use a “real” level and not the 1″ bubble level that comes with the wall mount.

Small level for accurate and nice installation. Now regarding the mounting kit itself

Difficult directions. Unscrew tilt screws first!

This thing was a GIANT pain in the rear last night. How are you supposed to loosen the tilt screws when you can’t even get a hand in between the TV and the mount once it’s on the wall? We took our new TV on and off the wall no less than 5 times trying to see if we were missing a step but we weren’t. We finally loosened the tilt screws before we mounted the TV and that worked. The directions left much to be desired. Now that the TV is up it looks nice and hopefully we won’t have to fool with taking it down for a LONG time.

I was skeptical when I opened the box but this is a very sturdy mount. It easily handles the weight of my 75″ Sony. A couple tips… it comes in two pieces. When assembling, make sure to push both sides together so they are both lined up a perfectly horizontal. When adjusting the tilt mechanism, you’ll want to use something as a gauge so both sides are tilted exactly the same. Mounting the wall mount is easy, but make sure to use a stud finder to locate the center of the studs so the lag bolts can grip securely. There’s a little room for vertical play in the mounting slots so you’ll be able to fine tune the leveling to some extent. You’ll also be able to slide your TV left and right a little to get it centered.

Extremely pleased. Instructions were very clear and it came with a nice assortment of parts so I had no trouble mounting the brackets to my TV. I used this with a Samsung LN52A650 TV (which is about a 52″ 10 year old LCD TV that is very heavy) but it was a snap with this. I have nothing bad to say about this kit and would definitely buy another if I had another large TV to mount. When wall mounting any TV, I recommend buying some right angle HDMI adapters so you can connect the inputs. (Most point downward, but you can find some that point right or left — I bought ones that directed the HDMI cable towards the middle of my TV.)

Nice product, good support

It installed well and had more than adequate bolts and hardware. There is one notable defect. The spring loaded locking pins that are part of the arms that attach to the monitor are too long preventing them from engaging. I have sent an email to address for support in the directions with no response.

Very easy to use and install, good instructions

The hardest part of installing my 50″ Vizio using this was finding 2 studs to support it, since I have an older house and the stud width isn’t consistent or standard. Part of this frame bolts to the wall, in the studs, and the front part goes on the back of the TV. I am glad that we went ahead and attached the HDMI cable that was sent- we have used it several times since.

Nice look and easy to install

I’ve used two of these, one on an older 44 inch TV and another on a new 70 inch. I really like how tight they mount to the wall, almost impossible to see any of the cables behind the TV. Installation was easy on the 44 inch but the kit didn’t have the correct mounting bolts for the Samsung 70 inch. I was able to make due with a dremel tool and some different bolts.

Holds a 50" plasma

It is one of the remaining mounts that holds up 130 lb. I used it to hang my hitachi 50″ plasma TV. I had to extend the rack length by removing the eight screws in the middle and only replacing 4. Everything was mounted to studs so it worked fine. When the TV is mounted there is almost no access to the back of the TV unless you have someone else that is strong making sure the TV does not come off the hanger rack. Also you need 2 people to hang a heavy TV on the rack.

There are better mounts out there but these are very good at this price.

Although I prefer one piece mounts to one’s that have to be assembled such as these, these worked great to mount 3 flat panel TVs in my new home. Leveling them can be a bit of a chore due to the center connector of the 2 piece mount giving such a short span to reference. You have to be careful when assembling the 2 piece wall bracket to ensure the center support and each side piece are in the same “plane” when referenced from the top. Once that is done though the rest of install is a breeze. I also recommend if only one stud is being used to secure it in other holes using better dry wall anchors than the ones supplied. I got lucky on 2 of the 3 mounts and was able to get it secured to 2 studs. On the third I used large toggle style drywall anchors that engage a large area on the back of the drywall. All in all I am happy with the mounts.
