Great Product – Will Last You For Years, BUT with TWO Caveats . . . .

I had one of these that broke this last winter after years of great service. This is a very durable brush, and since I’ve never seen them again in a store after I bought the first one, I bought three on Amazon because the price was very reasonable. Two things, that you should know about before you order this.

Sturdiest scraper I’ve ever used

My “old” snowbrush scraper wasn’t cutting it anymore, so I figured I’d try something beyond “the cheapest in the store,” though I bought this for $4.99, I think.

Good Snow Brush

I’m a newbie at driving in snowy places, and this was the first snow brush I ever owned. Today I used it on my 2015 Honda Fit. It’s a very well made product, but I wish the ice scraper was removable. When I tried to maneuver the brush to get to tight spots, I was nervous that the scraper would scrape my shiny new car. Also, I think I’d prefer either a longer or shorter length. This size is too big to fit under the front seat but too small to reach all the way across the windshield or roof. It spans only half the width of my hatchback space, so in my case, I could easily fit a longer brush. I decided to look for a longer brush with a scraper that is removable and/or located at the opposite end. For tight spots, I’d prefer a small hand brush. I’ll just donate this one. Someone will like it a lot. It’s very durable and feels good, but it just wasn’t for me.

A beefy, strong ice scraper/snow brush

I’ve had a lot of bad experiences with those cheap ice scrapers in the past. One broke while I was scraping, and as my hand flew into the ice, I tore a tendon on my right hand, making it useless for weeks. I couldn’t properly use my manual gear shift.

Look great and work even better. Would and have recommended to others 100%!!!!

These are such perfect scrapers. I live in north eastern Indiana and we have a lot of snow, ice, and frost every winter. These scrapers tackle all of it with no problem. Very comfortable handle and the angle is perfect for cars and suvs. I have given these to several family members and they have all said how well they work compared to other ones. Only thing is I wish you could pick your color. However so far I have been lucky and gotten ones that I would have picked. Except for this last one. It was yellow. Still looks ok but not a color I would have picked. However I have gotten lucky with a lime green, pink, red, and blue ones.

Designed with common sense! Thanks!

I was looking for someone to offer a snowbrush that was designed correctly and THIS IS IT! Many of the snowbrushes have the brush on one end and the scrapper on the other, why? Do they think I want to freeze my hands when I go from brush to scrape? Well with this thing I don’t have to! Thanks for doing it right!

Heavy scraper with nice grips.

Unlike some reviewers, I read the full description including the part that says “Colors may vary”, so no bad marks from me for getting 2 red scrapers instead of blue scrapers like the ones shown in the picture. For less than 14 bucks I purchased two of these, one for each car. After reading some reviews on here and being tired of buying new scrapers every year I took a chance on these. I was surprised at how hefty they feel in your hand. Nice rubber grip on the end and a non slip section in the middle for your other hand. The bend in the middle is nice for bearing down on the window to get those tough spots without raking your knuckles across the glass. The plastic scraper part seems pretty good so far, only time will tell on that. I generally end up throwing away my scrappers every year due to chips in the plastic scraper part that leave “pain in the neck” streaks in the ice. Hopefully this one will last. The edges of the scraper have 2 little notches cut out that says ” Ice Chipper” although I haven’t had to use that yet, i’m sure it will help if I have to. The brush part has heavy, thick bristles. A lot nicer than the previous ones I have purchased. At just over 23″ long they are great for cars and trucks. I drive a 4×4 s10 blazer and I can reach well over half the window from one side. My wife has a Honda Civic and she can reach almost all the way over her window from one side. Over all I would recommend this to everyone based on the price and the quality of the scraper. You will pay twice this much for one that isnt as nice from your local wal mart or parts store. Time will tell on how long it lasts.

Solid tool with good reach, especially for the price.

Got a chance to put this through its paces after the big snowstorm that hit the east coast. I am a recent transplant to the area and didn’t yet have a snowshovel. I used this and an old broom to remove 9 inches of snow and ice from two cars. It took a while since it was comparably small for the task but did admirably. Particularly for the price I am very happy with this scrapper brush tool 🙂 I wish you could pick your own colors upon ordering, I received yellow and bright green which are fine and easy to see in the snow, but other than that I am a fan.

Great ice scraper

This ice scraper is very well designed. It is sturdy enough to chisel through ice, and brush away large amounts of snow. A lot of ice scrapers have chisels and brushes at opposite ends of the handle, which makes using the chisel cumbersome (since you have to hold the device by the brush). However, the Hopkins Ice Hammer placed both the chisel and brush at the same end of the device. Overall, I am very satisfied.

Excellent choice for smaller vehicles

Got this brush just in time for the first ice storm of the year – thanks Amazon for delivering it in one day. This brush broke the ice on the windshield without difficulty. It would have worked on the nose of the car too but I was concerned for damaging the bodywork/ripping the emblems off the car. The brush looks to be very sturdy. It is also a bit shorter which is important as it will be going into my Miata (minimal cargo space in the car), but not so short as to make it awkward to use. Great product for smaller vehicles, I am keeping the longer brush/scraper I have for my van.
