I returned a BD Handheld I got from Amazon for $59 that didn’t hold a charge as long and was heavier than this lil’ unit. I swapped it out for this one and glad I did.

Awesome!

I gave this to my son for Christmas. He says it is Awesome. And works Surprisingly well. He has used it on stairs and furniture and loves it! I will probably buy one for myself. I spent days reading reviews before I decided to go with this one. I made a good choice.

This hand vac is pretty great – suction is strong – I like the design and the attached fold down vac part works well. Only thing I wish this did was give you more warning when the battery was about to die – it just dies – you can sort of tell when it’s starting to run low, but having the LED light up or something would have been nice – I still recommend it.

This made a great first impression and we like it

We selected this particular lithium ion powered cordless hand vac from the listings because it says here that it is lighter than the others on the market and it can be charged from a cable rather than a stand. That powered roller brush attachment was something extra we didn’t expect in a battery hand vac.

Happy we got this!

Great Purchase! Strong suction, long duration of the battery’s charge, easy to clean. Definitely worth the price

As of 2017 it is the quietest vac – buy if other vacs are too loud

This vacuum is for those of you who are like me and cannot handle the high-pitched screeching of the latest round of Black and Decker cordless vacuums. Black and Decker used to be my go-to for cordless vacs, but they started shrinking the size of the motors in order to save/make money … and smaller motors have to run much faster to produce the same amount of suction (thus the long spin-up time and the high-pitched screeching). I have had to buy/return several models until I came across this one. It’s still old-school and has what I would consider to be a normal volume level for a cordless. It also blows the exhaust up and away from the area you are cleaning, which one would think would be a no-brainer but it is amazing how many vacuums I’ve come across that vent downwards and blow away what you are attempting to clean. Suction does the job, but it is not anything to brag about. Also, the orifice is the smallest of any I’ve tried. Still, it sucks up dirt and doesn’t hurt my ears in the process.

So much suction! So much better than my old "dust buster"!

My old hand held “dust buster” battery stopped recharging 5 years ago, so I learned to live without a hand vacuum for all that time. Bought this Dirt Devil Quick Flip nozzle a few weeks ago, and it’s fantastic. This is so much better than it old one, has great suction, a clear view of the dirt picked up so you know when to empty, has a fine filter to eliminate blow by dust (not a HEPA filter, though). I have used it for small construction projects as it is a quick way to clean up sawdust when I don’t need to get the big shop vac out. Easily sucks up the giant wasps that somehow find their way into the house during spring and early summer. I was using the Quick Flip nozzle for the bugs, but it has so much suction, that I found I did not need the smaller flip nozzle for this task. The flip nozzle is great to get dirt and dust and cobwebs from small gaps in the carpet flooring edges. Powerful! Inexpensive. Solidly made. Charged for about 6 hours before I used it the first time. Does not come with a wall bracket, so I made one from 1″ wide x 1/8″ thick aluminum and also bent up the end to hold the powered roller brush attachment. Have not used the powered roller brush yet, but that might be a good thing for pet hair, etc. 5 Stars!!!!

Good hand vacuum, nice suction, a few design issues

This item does a really good job as a hand vacuum. It has good strength and I’ve used it for 10 minutes straight and did not encounter any issues with the battery or loss of suction. I think some of the people complaining about suction might have never used a hand vacuum before. This item is not comparable to a traditional standing, wired vacuum. But for its own class, it is good.

Decent little hand vac

The Dirt Devil Quick Flip Plus vac is a decent vacuum for small jobs. It’s suction power is adequate but I wouldn’t expect it to pick up many large items. I appreciate how light it is so the maneuverability is great. It’s not as long as my last hand vac and therefore is easier to get into the hard to reach places. The attached extender is easy to initiate and I love that it’s permanently attached to the vacuum so there is no chance of it getting lost. The included powered pet hair brush is a great addition. It’s easy to snap on the end and the brushes do get some great RPMs on it which easily drew up dog hair from my stairway carpeting. The vacuum took a while to charge but I attribute this to the fact that it lasted about twice as long between charges as my previous hand vac. I took a star off because of the modest suction power as well as the fact that the canister sort of clogged with dog hair (maybe I just need to vacuum the steps more often) and needed to be emptied quite frequently.
