Big & Bad

I do have this product in my hands and have been using it. Works great with my 20V Max tools. Bit bigger, but runs a long time. Worth the $ if you use your tools a lot. Added a photo to compare size. Mine came with a red cover that protects the electrical connections when storing the battery. I like that. I have shorted out other batteries with screws and such in my storage case.
My newer 18v XRP hammer drill it fits great in and removes easily (see picture circled in GREEN)

The adapter worked in my older 18v DeWalt drill, but it was really hard to remove (see picture circled in RED). My newer 18v XRP hammer drill it fits great in and removes easily (see picture circled in GREEN). Also, The charger is BETTER (faster) than the charger you get in the combo kits, so consider that – I couldn’t believe how fast these batteries charge.
Long run times but at the cost of weight

The DeWALT DCB609 is 9.0Ah when using 20v tools and 3.0Ah in 60v tools and weighs substantially heavier then even the DCB206 20v 6.0Ah battery. Each battery will have a corresponding Ah on the side except DCB203 20v 2.0Ah which is not written on the side in the pictures provided.

These batteries are great. Only downside is I ended up loosing the screws on my belt clips just a little so they don’t scrape with the FLEXVOLT batteries other than that they are monsters. I used to think the 5ah where big, not any more lol.
Dewalt sucks for not coming out with this kit years ago

Dewalt sucks for not coming out with this kit years ago. PERIOD. But, now that it’s out…Thank God as I can use my 18V tools again without dealing with those awful/overpriced/underperforming no matter how long you charge them awful batteries. Works with all my 18V tools. Drills, Reciprocating saw, grinder, circular saw, light, etc.

I have to admit that these batteries add an impressive amount power to my 20v lineup. I’ve only used these on my 20v weed wacker so far and I get about an hour use on high. Battery pack didn’t even get warm. Usually I’ll get around 30min with the 5.0ah. I think it lasted around double the time because the load is spread out with 15 internal 18650 batteries in the 20v/60v vs 10 18650 batteries in the 20v 5.0ah pack.

Great batteries. Don’t be fooled by the single charge light

When I received these batteries I had the sAme problem that several people reported. E.g. It only shows one bar of charge no matter how long it stays in the charger. There is a super easy fix. I believe the problem is that the charger misreads the voltage And says it is charged.
Great so far

Use Dewalt 20v batteries daily. Have every battery from 1.5 Ah up to this 6 Ah, and in multiples.
