Like most people have mentioned, There isn’t any instruction for hot tubs, but you can use fractions to figure out what you should be using!

I ordered this for my hot tub and we love it. We have a 700 gal hot tub and all it takes is a rounded tablespoon.

The best one so far!

Very much worth it for our hot tub, keeps it completely clean for at least 6 months before having to clean it again. This bottle lasts us about 6-9 months for a 3 person hot tub and we use about a tablespoon once a week. We use a little more when cleaning it and just starting out, other than that though that’s all we use along with clarifier and the hot tub stays nice and clean. This one works better than any other brand we’ve used in the past and the price is great too. Water stays very clear. I have always used clarifier with it, not sure if I need to but we use a lot lotions so I use it just in case I didn’t get all the lotion or oils off of me and the clarifier I think helps with that. If you don’t use lotion and oils a lot and are scrubbed clean you could probably just use this in your hot tub. I do add shock to our hot tub when we first fill it, but then we only use this and the clarifier (tablespoon of each).

Great for hot tubs!

This stuff is the bomb! I’ve tried a few different things, bromine, minerals and bromine combined, etc. – and nothing maintained our hot tub that well. I read all the reviews for this, took a shot in the dark, and ordered it. I use more to shock the water (three tablespoons), such as upon fill up, and if our kids use it consistently. Other than that, every few days I’ll throw in one tablespoon. To be honest, I’ve even skipped adding any for two weeks, and when I open the hot tub the water is crystal clear. Our water is GREAT!!! So clear, and balanced! This is the only thing I’ll use from now on.

Very good value – great product for hot tubs – Cost = pennies a month – ** updated **

After weeks of looking for less expensive alternatives for my hot tub, reading through countless reviews, I ended up giving this a try. This has impressed me. My hot tub holds about 270 gallons of water. Following the directions, give or take 1 ounce per treatment. For me a treatment normally holds good for around a week. I check my chemicals every 5 – 7 days. After around a month, my chemical balance has been more stable, no large swings anymore. No more dumping in what I considered a ton of chemicals. My water did NOT turn blue, as it stayed clear. In past, my PH always seem to drop, it no longer drops as much as before. The 1 ounce rating must be by weight, as 1 fluid ounce = 6 teaspoon. So I started with 1 teaspoon, it was over kill, but lasted a very long time (2 weeks) before getting back in line. Next about 1/2 teaspoon, and it seems to be pretty close. At that rate, this jug has enough to last me 3+ years! Before I would go through a container of this size in about 6 months. I have noting bad to say about this product except, where have you been in my hot tub’s life.

What do you really want in a spa treatment? Consistency…

Used this Clorox treatment in my spa for years. Very dependable, and consistent in product formulation. It’s easy to overuse, so experiment with smaller quantities, and increase only if needed. Six pounds goes a long way, so I fill a 1 pound container to keep from reopening the larger container (avoiding caking, contamination, or losing 6 pounds if dropped).

Great product for sanitizing older outdoor Jacuzzi Hot Tubs.

Great product for sanitizing older outdoor Jacuzzi Hot Tubs…and (in much lessor amounts) keeping mold and algae from forming in small outdoor decorative fountains. Great pricing compared to 1 lb sizes available locally. Weatherbug
