UltimaX Beans aren’t magic beans, but they’re close! We brought our smartest team together in one lab and locked the door until they came up with an ingenious breakthrough. The result? UltimaX Beans. They’re loftier, longer-lasting and up to 20% more dense than the average bean bag fill.

I bought this to refill 2 bean bags that had been flattened over the years. These are your standard size ones you see on Target or Walmart. It filled both up to a sufficient volume that you can sit on them again and not feel like they are just empty leather bags. One word of advice, take a dryer sheet and rub it on both the bean bag opening and the slit area you cut open to pour the beans. This will keep static from causing all sorts of problems for you when transferring to your bean bag.

The foam beans were delivered a week earlier than expected and there was more than enough to fill the bean bag chair. I only used a little more than half of the bag. They do go everywhere and stick to everything. On the bag they provide a dotted line showing you where to cut the bag open at one of the corners, I recommend making a much smaller cut (only a few inches wide) you won’t fill the bean bag as quickly, but it helps keep the beans in the bag and not all over the floor.

I started to put them in my son’s beanbag chair and what a pain….the static drives me crazy. I gave up after managing to get some in his chair. They are Styrofoam beans – reason for the static, but otherwise, there is nothing wrong with the product. Just have to figure out how to get them in the chair, instead of clinging to me (my hands, arms, shirt, etc!).

I picked up a Big Joe chair from a big box store over the holidays. After about 2 months of daily use the chair started to slump and it was time for a refill. I purchased the original filling medium expecting that the bag would contain enough medium to refill the chair and not much else. Now as anyone who has had any experience with styer foam peanuts will tell you, dealing with a large quantity is a chore that usually ends up requiring the assistance of a vacuum cleaner once you are finished. This product was no different. However with how quickly the medium breaks down inside the chair, how much you receive in the package, and the fact that I’ll be able to refill that chair several times, you can be sure it’s a great deal. I recommend this product whole heartedly.
I made a small floor pouf (17 inches across and 12 inches tall) for my daughter’s room and used this as the filler. It worked great! It’s lightweight and has held up to a toddler stepping on it multiple times a day getting in and out of bed. We had more than enough for the pouf and we were able to refill a full sized bean bag chair we have. The beans are made of styrofoam and get everywhere when you’re filling. We found that using a peice of paper as a funnel and a paper bowl as a scooper worked the best and prevented the most cling from the beans.
I purchased this to fill my dogs beds that got flat. They have the pillow type dog bed and they used to be big and fluffy but after 6 months of them using the beds they got flat. Both beds are large and these beans were more than enough to fill both beds. They were nice and thick and comfy for the pups and they love their new beds. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was because they have already gone a little flat in only a week of use. I figured that would happen but hopefully they don’t go completely flat. I will update if that does happen.
This worked perfectly for refilling a bean bag chair i bought a few months ago. Does require two people to do it with out the beads falling out everywhere. We had a few get lose, which is a big pain, but we did it outside on patio and we were ready to clean up with a dust pan and small hand broom. We just cut the corner so that we had more control when pouring it into the opening that we did not unzip all the way on chair. That way they didn’t fall out of the chair either. I used about 2/3 of the bag i’d say.
There is a lot of filling in here. Like, plenty. I ordered this to fill a small hamburger bean bag I bought on here for my desk to use as a foot rest. Eventually it got flat and I ordred this to fluff it up again, and it worked great! Beware when you pull it out, some of the stuffing had escaped and they’re little bitty beans so picking them up is kind of a pain, but you’ll have plenty of fills for small ottomans and child bean bags.
