Simple to assemble. Seems to be of decent solid quality. Would definitely recommend installing shelves (I feel that at a price of almost $200 including tax it should have come with shelves) had to go to the big box orange store where they kindly cut shelving material for me (I had to do the diagonal/miter cuts myself at home, see picture: the shelves are a trapezoidal shape, the shelves fit nicely without needing to be screwed in like the directions recommend.

Super easy to put together. I never read instructions, am not strong, and am not handy. This shed popped right together. I am a middle-aged lady and could easily pull it around to the side of my house where I wanted to keep it. It’s perfect for storing my push mower and some rakes. Best is how clean my garage is without the random grass clippings from the mower. I have a cleaner space for projects.

Nice plastic closet for storing garden tools, not truly waterproof or sturdy.

This is a review of the “single” rather than the “double” Suncast Vertical Utility Shed (70.5 x 32.25 x 26.5 inches). I noticed that the reviews of both sizes are mixed together on the Amazon website. The “single” or narrower version is just big enough to fit either (1) an old-fashioned push lawnmower without a motor, or (2) all my other garden tools (rake, hoe, shovels, pruners, shepherd’s hooks, etc, etc. I tried to squeeze everything in, mower and all, but if you do that, everything gets snarled together and you can’t remove just one tool without unpacking the whole thing. Also, there is no room to add shelves once all my long-handled tools are inside.

It isn’t a huge shed, but my husband and I put it together very fast and it is just the right size for us. We are not very mechanically inclined, and luckily we didn’t need to be to snap this shed together. The pieces are a nice thick resin, not cheaply made at all. Will buy more Suncast products because of the quality of this one.

I absolutely LOVE my new storage shed. Even though they suggested that assembly would be best with 2 people, I didn’t have that option, and put it together by myself. The shed seems VERY well made… it’s definitely not going to blow over. It doesn’t come with shelves, but I had my hardware store cut 2 shelves for me, using the template Suncast supplies. I was able to get all the plant pots and saucers off the deck, as well as a big bag of potting soil, all my gardening tools, and so on. My deck looks SO much neater. I would definitely recommend this product.

Great little shed! I put this unit up by myself (59 year-old female), I just needed a screwdriver for the handles. The instructions were great; they got the alphabet a little out-of-order, but if you have half a brain, you won’t have a problem. Two things that might help a person putting this up alone: 1) Set it up against a wall using the wall to hold the pieces upright. 2) Gently bend the wall pieces before standing them up for installation (in the same way you would pre-fold a piece of cardboard at the score line).

UPS left it by the back door. It was too heavy so my 57 year old daughter and I removed the pieces from the box and moved the pieces to the front porch. After we had all of the pieces on the front porch, it took us about an hour to fully assemble the storage unit. Very little trouble assembling as the instructions were clear. We had to deviate at one point because neither of us could bend over to fasten the bottom fastenings first as called for in the instructions, so we did bottom last. I would suggest that a wood shelf be included, because hardware store wanted $20.00 for a 24×48″ piece of 3/4″ plywood. By and large the assembly was a breeze. Will get the plywood tomorrow, make the shelf and screw the unit to the front porch exterior wall. I will then have enough room to store my lighting equipment for taking portraits of Grandchildren and 9+ Great-grandchildren One last thing, the unit got here about 2 days after I ordered it. According to Amazon records, it will arrive between 2/3/17 and 2/13/17.

An affordable and useful storage unit
