The comfort 6" mattress by Home Life holds true to its promise it is designed to keep your verebrae supported. We owe this to comforts 480 tempered steel independently-encased coils which creates an equal weight distribution to help relieve any pressure points along your neck shoulders back and hips. Another advantage to the independentaly-encased coil structure is it reduces motion disturbance. This mattress offers better comfort of much thicker 8-10 inch mattresses.

I’ll be completely honest – bought this mattress because it was cheap, cheap cheap. But surprisingly, it’s actually a pretty good mattress.I t’s a lot more comfortable than it looks, especially when lying down. It’s very firm – rock solid and great for your back. You might not like it if you prefer a soft mattress. This item actually lives up to its description – it really doesn’t squeak at all, and it’s hard to imagine there’s actually springs at all inside this.

I was quite nervous about this mattress. The price, the box… it was intimidating that I’d get anything good out of this purchase. Glad I took the chance. It was a lot of fun getting it out the box, cutting open the plastic that was keeping it compressed and watching it just unravel like it did. I even videotape myself doing it although I won’t upload it because well, let’s just say I was making weird noises trying to get the heavy mattress out the box. Lol Anyways, it was pretty comfortable and firm. If you like super soft pillow like bed this wouldn’t be your cup of tea. The springs are there and slightly noticeable when you lay on it but not in a stabbing way. Nothing is wrong with this mattress plus it was a great price. I give it a 100% from what I expected… it definitely made me a believer that a mattress can be rolled up in a narrow box and still be worth bragging about. =)

it is really amazing how they pack the mattress i ordered and still …

This mattress is much nicer than I expected it to be. It is on the heavy side in spite of the seemingly small size of the box. Do be very careful not to use any sharp pointed tools when you open it. It is compressed into a flat roll and easy to underestimate how large it will fill out to when it is done decompressing.

Good enough for kids

The mattresses (I bought two) aren’t anything fancy. They work well for my 3 & 4 year olds bunk bed and my wallet, so I’m satisfied.

Good for the price

I bought two of these. I love how they expand out of the plastic wrap. They def are not memory foam so don’t expect that royal comfort. They do the job. I don’t know if it’s my bed. I have a Hemme Daybed that pulls out to a double, queen and king. You stack two twins when you want a standard daybed and lay them side by side when you want it to be a king. I have been using it as a daybed ( twin and it seems to be slanted or slopes. Like higher toward the backboard. I did add memory foam on top to give more cushion.

Firm twin

The twin is firm which is great for us. It was easy to move and fun to unwrap. It came in plastic and shrink wrapped. So once you broke the seal, the mattress goes to size.
