My review for Nature’s Blossom seed kit

Ok so my thoughts on Nature’s Blossom Crazy Garden kit are a bit divided. Let’s start with my overall experience – I bought this kit while searching for an original yet affordable gift for my nephew who is 10 years old. I loved the fact that this is something we could do together. The product was shipped quickly and arrived with all the components as advertised. As a pleasant surprise, the packaging box is very impressive and was even bigger than I expected, which is very nice.
A perfect gift or something to satisfy curiosity on the hobby!

Everything needed to start Bonsai trees

This kit comes with everything you need to get started with growing your own Bonsai trees. If you have patience and enjoy watching and nurturing plant growth then this is the set for you. Two of my daughters, my husband, and I have chosen which one we will be working with when they finally grow large enough to train and shape. The step by step instructions were quite easy to follow and it doesn’t take too long to have them planted. We did soak our seeds for 24 hours prior to doing the planting process as instructions recommended this for better germination chances. It takes anywhere from 2-6 weeks depending on which seeds to actually germinate so again, patience is a virtue. Plus, it takes a couple years for them to grow into the size of the typically seen Bonsai trees so this is an extended length project. The kit came with the planting pots, the soil discs, seeds in each labeled packet, and the writeable tree labels so we know which tree is which. We are all excited to see how they grow and if I can remember (I will try my best) I will post future pics of them coming up above the soil and as they grow. I did receive this kit at a discount for an honest and unbiased review, which does not influence my opinion of an item. I rely on reviews when making purchases, especially online, so I only provide honest feedback on items that have been tried and tested.
… have a bonsai and to grow my own seemed like a good idea

So I decided to try this since Ive always wanted to have a bonsai and to grow my own seemed like a good idea. I actually bought three different kits from different companies and Ive had the best luck with this one. I planted them on 1-2-17 and I have three plants sprouting. Im still waiting on the Jacardia to sprout but it has only been 16 days so far. I have had the best luck with the Pineus ones. I have three strong sprouts from that so far…one of my previous kits had the same seed and it was rather sad compared to the ones that have come up with Nature’s Blossom. I think by the end of the month I will have to repot the Pines since they are so big I dont want them to crowd each other out.
Excited to see how these trees grow, great entertainment value

Today I planted the seeds from my Nature’s Blossom Bonsai kit (after soaking them for close to a day, according to the instructions), and I’m hoping they grow.

I have wanted Bonsai trees for a long time but they are quite an expensive little tree. I was very excited for the opportunity to try and grow them myself. The grow time for a Bonsai tree is 2-5yrs so my review is based on my overall experience with the growing kit. The kit comes with 4 biodegradable growing pots, 4 peat soil discs, 4 plant markers and 4 seed packets for 4 different Bonsai species. The kit came with an instruction manual that I made sure to read carefully before I got started. I’m one to get an area set up first so I got a tray and set everything out in front of me. I thought the instructions were easy to follow. Its gave me step by step instructions and even tips for what do in the future once I start seeing growth. The first thing I did was soak the seeds (only 5-7 from each species) in hot water for 24hrs. I did this on a Friday morning so come Saturday morning my seeds were ready. This is called pre-sowing the seeds. Per the instructions it will improve germination. Now it was time for me to soften the peat discs. I put a kettle on for hot water (approx 122 degrees Fahrenheit). I thought this was a cool process but do not touch the peat until it cools! It will expand to about 9″ (well my discs did as you can see in the pictures). Once it cools I picked up the mass and squeezed excess water out pretty easy. Then I broke up the peat and started planting! I love gardening and so this was a fun experience for me. It would be a neat project to do with my nephews. They will get a kick out of watching the peat discs expand. I think this kit would be a nice gift for someone who will appreciate it. I cant wait to see what my future Bonsai children will become!
viable seeds, great!

I am happy to say that all 4 of these seeds germinated for me. 2 of them were quite prolific, the other 2 only one seed sprouted of 5. But I am very pleased with the product. Here’s hoping they live long and become beautiful bonsai.

UPDATE!!! I just wanted to update my review and show everyone the progress my seeds have made today is 8/29/16 and you will see in the picture below. I left them in the brown carton that I planted them in and I planted the carton into the dirt with the sprouts!! I am so happy with these!
Thanks YOU, for your honesty.

To start off, I was a bit sceptical when i purchased the the kit. I thought that my money was gone and the trees wouldn’t grow as advertised.
