We’ve had a fruit fly problem for several months. I’ve had exterminators out, but that didn’t solve the problem. I tried vinegar in a dish (no joy.) Had this on for the last 24 hours and killed multiple fruit flies and they are no longer buzzing around! I may have to use it for a while to get 2nd generation fruit flies, but this is the most effective solution I’ve found. Wish I had located this months ago!

AWESOME PRODUCT to zap those pesky no-see-ums!!!

This is an AWESOME product! We live in Florida and have a fully-screened pool cage, so I installed this “zapper” to get what I thought would be just an occasional tiny bug that made it through the screen. I hung it by its chain on a plant rack that we have on the lanai. It was UNBELIEVABLE how quick it started “popping” and killing the tiniest bugs that we would NEVER EVER have seen! The first few days it literally killed a couple hundred bugs. Now that we have had it running 24 hours a day we only hear the “POP!” of a bug meeting its demise a few times a day. This worked so well on the no-see-ums that get through the screen that I got a second zapper for inside the house. You won’t be sorry if you get one of these, and you’ll soon wish you had another one. Something about that loud “ZAP” that just turns you on, knowing you are completely BUG-FREE!!!

Great product

This is an awesome unit that does what it is suppose to. My wife always frowned at the idea of having one of these for outside. I bought this and turned it on when I was grilling one day and ZAP! She was hook when the fly that flew in was taken care of with in five minutes without me running around the house amusing my kids as daddy the fly hunter. She loves it now. She can’t imagine not having it now. As I was typing this I think another ZAP! Notice the caps… It is very very loud when it neutralizes a bug. Quite when it’s just on though, no annoying buzzing sound or anything.

absolutely by far one of the best purchases ive ever made from amazon

3 ft. 3 wire(grounded) plug. Includes a chain for hanging from ceiling or wall. Metal construction for durability. Definitely makes a loud “pop” when an unfortunate fly gets zapped. I had one very large fly get zapped and then fall between the grid and bulb and it zapped for at least 15 times before the fly vaporized.

Best bug zapper!

I live in Florida so we constantly have bugs in our screened area around the pool. I’ve tried a few different bug zapper but this one is AMAZING!! I kid you not, I just got it yesterday and plugged it in last night and over a 3 hr time frame the whole tray was filled with noseeums, gnats and mosquitoes. I’m going to buy a few more.

Wonderful!

This zapper works great. We have it in our living room and it is on 24/7. In the spring thru fall months, we have a lot of different flying insects that seem to make their way into the house, especially tiny moths and gnats. The zapper seems to get them all. We have had mosquitoes, and other (unknown) bugaboos too. It has even zapped several houseflies , although, they take many zaps on the way down and will eventually “blow up” into several housefly parts complete with colorful little sparks! One suggestion; do not place your light in front of, or visible from, your screen door or window. I found out after 3 months of being placed in front of my patio screen door, that the light during the dark hours was actually drawing the tiny bugs IN thru my screen. The zapper was killing something seriously every 5 minutes all day and night. When I finally wised up and moved it to a position the was not visible from outside, it stopped drawing stuff in! HA! Anyway, highly recommend this zapper. Oh, one more thing, if this is in the same room with you it might take a while before you jump out of your skin every time it “zaps!” in a quiet room.
